Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 5, 2026
Ember is committed to making this service usable for as many people as possible, regardless of ability or assistive technology. We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA and to align with the European Accessibility Act (EAA, 2025).
What we do
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels on interactive elements
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and background
- Keyboard-navigable chat, forms, and dialogs
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Responsive layouts that work on mobile, tablet, and desktop
- Respect for users' motion-reduction preferences
- CV output rendered in standard .docx for compatibility with screen readers and assistive tools
Known limitations
The reflective chat surface and the generated CV preview are still being refined for full screen-reader and keyboard parity. Some long live-updating regions may not yet announce changes ideally. We are actively improving these areas.
Conformance status
Ember is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard.
